"Mother and Child" by Alexander Strashevich is an abstract depiction that uses flowing shapes and contrasting hues of deep blue, purple, and golden yellow. The forms evoke the tender and intimate connection between a mother and her child, depicted through overlapping, harmonious shapes that seem to embrace one another. The circular lines within the golden halo subtly symbolize warmth, love, and protection, radiating from the larger form over the smaller one. Strashevich likely intended to express the deep bond, care, and unity shared between a mother and her child, capturing their connection in a timeless, symbolic manner through abstract shapes and gentle color transitions.
