About the artist: Born on January 1, 1927, in the city of Dunaevtsi (now Khmelnytsky region). Graduated from the Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1953). Teachers by profession - R. Selsky, I. Gutorov. He worked in the field of easel painting and monumental decorative art. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1957), all-Union (since 1961). Major works: "Rafters"; "Red Poppies", "Trembita" (1961) "; Duma about Dovbush "(1963)"; Kobza "(1964) and others. Lived and worked in the city of Kiev.
