About the artists: Chernov Leonid Ivanovich (1915-1990) - Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1966). Professor. He studied in the XXI (1938-1941) with N. Samokish. He worked in the field of thematic painting and landscape. Member of the National Union of Artists. The vast majority of L. Chernov’s great legacy consists of paintings, sketches and drawings based on the motifs of the beautiful Ukrainian nature. Traveled through Bulgaria, India and Cuba.
