About the artist: Born on May 30, 1920 in the village of Dyachkovo (now the Poltava region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1947), graduate school at the Academy of Architecture of the Ukrainian SSR (1951). Teachers by specialty - O. Shovkunenko, K. Left, T. Yablonska. Member of World War II. He worked in the industry of easel and monumental painting, art history and art criticism. Major works: “Monument to M. Gogol in Poltava” (1952); “Dnepropetrovsk motive” (1961); “The indestructible friendship of the Russian and Ukrainian peoples”, the painting of the hall of the Palace of Culture, the number of gentlemen “Friendship in the village of Xaverivtsi, Kiev region” (1960); painting of the Palace of Culture of Builders of the Kremenchug hydroelectric station named after V.I. Lenin (1959 - 1960); articles in magazines, newspapers and others. He participated in exhibitions of republican and all-Union since 1947. Candidate of Art History (1951).
