About the artist: Mukhin Valery Petrovich (born 1946), member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, painter.

In 1978 he graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts (now the Academy of Arts). In 1995 he became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Valery Petrovich is a participant in many exhibitions of various levels. His works are in the author's and private collections of near and far abroad, in the art museum of Zaporozhye, in the Livadia Palace-Museum, in the House-Museum named after A.P. Chekhova (Belaya Dacha), Historical and Literary Museum of Yalta.

Currently he lives and works in the city of Yalta, teaches at the Crimean Humanitarian University and continues his creative work, presenting his work to a wide range of viewers and readers.

Valery Mukhin says about the artist's tasks:

“... our time is bright, stormy, where everything is mixed up and moral guidelines are often lost. In such conditions, artists are all the more bearers of truth, the core of beauty, which, in fact, enriches the human soul ...

It seems to me that art as a whole is an expression of the unity of the human spirit, the human soul. And everyone does it in their own way, to the best of their talent, trying to reveal it. I wish everyone to develop further, not to stop, look for themselves, work in different materials, strive and find the most interesting discoveries for themselves in themes, technique, in self-expression ... And whether it is classical painting or symbolic, it does not matter. The main thing is that he is - this core of beauty, in which the invisible becomes visible. "
