About the artist: Born on August 22, 1939, in the city of Sumy. He graduated from the Kharkov Art School (1962) and the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (1966). Painter, graphic artist, master of artistic textiles. The artist's work is marked by a romantic mood, using panoramic space. The main genres are landscape and still life. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1990). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1975). On creative work. He worked in the Sumy Department of the Art Fund of Ukraine. The head of the Sumy organization of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (the end of the 1980s - the beginning of the 1990s). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican and international. Solo exhibitions - in Lebedin (Sumy region, 1979), Sumy (1981, 2009).
