About the artists: Sevastopol artist Mikhail Kobylenkov born on September 21, 1922, in the village of Akhmati (now the Saratov region). Graduated from Kharkov Art Institute (1952). Teachers by specialty - J. Deitz, G. Bondarenko, M. Deregus. He worked in the industry of easel painting, easel and book graphics. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1954). Personal exhibition - Uzhhorod (1960). Major works: illustrations for the novel "Verkhovino, you are our scroll" M. Teveleva, Uzhgorod, 1954; Bokorashi (1957); “Verkhovynsky landscape” (I960); "Winter. Statue ”(1963) and others. He lived and worked in the city of Sevastopol. He died in 2002.
