About the artists: Chernov Leonid Ivanovich (1915-1990) - Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR (1966). Professor. Studied at XXII (1938-1941) under N. Samokish. He worked in the field of thematic painting and landscape. Member of the NSHU. In the great legacy of L. Chernov, the vast majority are paintings, sketches and drawings based on the beautiful Ukrainian nature. Traveled in Bulgaria, India and Cuba.
