About the artist: Born on August 3, 1935, in the village of Smoldyrev, Zhytomyr region. Graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute (1968). Teachers in the specialty: O. Sirotenko, L. Chichkan, V. Puzyrkov. Painter. The main industry is easel painting (historical, everyday and landscape genres, portrait, still life). He adhered to the principles of realistic art. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1977). People's Artist of Ukraine (2009). Worked at the Kiev State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture; 1968): Professor of the Department of Painting and Composition (2005). Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-Union, foreign (since the 1970s). Personal exhibitions - in Kiev (2006). Major works: "Portrait of a Mother" (1981), "Didovazemlya" (1984), "Years of Troubles" (1985), "My Ukraine, Ukraine" (2001), "Meeting of the People's Avengers of the Kiev Region" (1973), "To Watering" (1975), "Fishermen" (1976), "The Night Before the Assault" (1977), "Mother" (1980), "Show Jumping" (1983), "Grandfather's Land" (1984), "Thinking about Bread" (1989) ), "Cornflower - Prince Terebovlyansky" (1990), "Conversation" (1991), "Kamchatka - the land of volcanoes" (1992), "My Ukraine, Ukraine" (2001), "Pink Morning" (2005), "Kiev, my fate ”(2006),“ River of Dreams.
