Stepan Filippovich Golub, born on November 2, 1927, was a gifted artist hailing from the village of Yatranovka, in what is now the Cherkasy region. His artistic journey led him to graduate from the Simferopol Art College, where he honed his skills under the guidance of eminent mentors such as M. Scheglov and S. Vladimirov.
