About the artist: Bespalov Ivan Nikolaevich – born September 11, 1908 in Kamen-na-Obi, Altai Territory. Graduated from the Omsk Art and Pedagogical College in 1932, the Odessa Art School in 1937, the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad in 1946. Teachers in his specialty: Yu. Bershadsky, A. Shovkunenko, L. Muchnik, V. Oreshnikov, Yu. Neprintseva, A. Segal, M. Bobyshev. Worked in the easel painting industry. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked as a teacher of special disciplines of painting, department of the Odessa Art School in 1946-1975. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, foreign since 1965. The artist died on May 2, 1995.
