About the artist: Born on November 19, 1920 in the village of Yagodnoy, Buzulutsky District (now the Orenburg Region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1953). Specialty teachers are O. Shovkunenko, M. Sharonov, I. Shtilman, K. Left, M. Ivanov, T. Yablonskaya, V. Puzirkov. Member of World War II. He worked in the industry of easel painting. The main works: wattle car "Tolstoy in the workshop of Repin" (1953); “To Siberia” (1957); “Windy Day” (1956); “To the grave of Kobzar” (1961); “Unforgettable” (1963); "T. G. Shevchenko in Nizhny Novgorod ”(1964); "Sergey Yesenin" (1968); “New Masters”, “Square in Sednevi” (1969) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1954, all-union since 1957. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1964). He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals. He died on August 10, 1982.
