About the artists: Stil' Leonid Mikhaylovich (1921-1999) - painter. Studied at the Kharkov Art Institute (1945-1947). Graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR (1953). Teachers in the specialty - S. Besedin, I. Deits, O. Kokel, V. Meshkov, R. Franz. Master of thematic paintings on historical subjects. Works in the field of easel painting and book graphics. He was a representative of alternative trends in Ukrainian art (1960s). He takes part in republican (since 1954), all-Union (since 1953), personal (since 1960) exhibitions. Member of the SHU.
