About the artists: Stil' Leonid Mikhailovich (1921-1999) - painter. Studied at the Kharkov Art Institute (1945-1947). Graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. Repin of the USSR Academy of Arts (1953). Teachers by specialty - S. Besedin, I. Daitz, O. Kokel, V. Meshkov, R. Frenz. Master of thematic painting on historical themes. Works in the field of easel painting and book graphics. He was a representative of alternative movements in Ukrainian art (1960s). Takes part in republican (since 1954), all-Union (since 1953), personal (since 1960) exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists.
