About the artist: Born in Gornya, Smolensk region, in 1924. Graduated from: "Moscow secondary school of arts" 1939-44; "Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (MGAHI)" until 1950. Painter and sculptor, restorer. Participated in exhibitions since 1956. He painted genre works, landscapes, still lifes. Lived and worked in Moscow. Died in 1995(96).
