About the artist: Ukrainian artist. Sukhorukikh Anatoly Ivanovich was born on December 20, 1935 in the city of Novocherkassk in Russia. In 1960 he graduated from the Crimean Art School named after I. N.S. Samokish, and in 1966 he graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute, where he studied with A. Khmelnitsky and A. Constantinople Since 1973, a member of the National Union of Artists. Since 1994 - Chairman of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine in Sevastopol. Since 1997 Sukhorukikh A.I. organizer and leader of the annual All-Ukrainian Sevastopol plein airs. Since 1998 - Honored Art Worker of Ukraine. In 2006 the artist was awarded the Gold Medal of the Presidium of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine. In 2009, Anatoly Ivanovich Sukhorukikh was awarded the title "People's Artist of Ukraine". The works are kept in the Sevastopol and Simferopol art museums, private collections both in Ukraine and abroad.
