About the artist: Born on January 18, 1924 in Sumy. He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1952). Teachers by specialty - O. Kokel and P. Kotov. He worked in the industry of easel painting and graphics. The main works "Artem (F. Sergeev) in an underground printing house" series "Kharkov Tractor Plant" (1956); based on the poem by T. G. Shevchenko “Gaydamaki” (1961 - 1964); "From the Patriotic War" (1965) and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957, all-union since 1955. He died in 2010.
