About the artist: Since 1926, in Leningrad, he studied at the AHRR studio under A.R. Eberling. From 1944 to 1947 taught at the Moscow Art Institute. Since 1946, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1947, a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Since 1939 he has been a constant participant in art exhibitions. Since 1947 he taught at the School named after. V. Mukhina. In 1951 he graduated from the Institute. I.E. Repin, where he studied with A.A. Osmerkin and D.N. Kardovsky. A personal exhibition was held in 1966 in Leningrad. The artist's works are in many museums of St. Petersburg, regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
