About the artist: Ukrainian painter. Born in Kiev in 1928. In 1949 he graduated from the Kiev College of Applied Arts, in 1967 - from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under I. Shtilman, V. Puzyrkov, S. Podervyansky. Member of Republican and All-Union exhibitions since 1970. He lived and worked in Kiev. He took part in the creation of dioramas. The author of thematic paintings, landscapes, portraits and still lifes. The works are stored in art museums of Ukraine, private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Canada, Israel and France.
