About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter, landscape painter. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (since 1985). Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Korostelev (Korostylev) Vladimir Alexandrovich was born on July 21, 1925. He graduated from the Simferopol Art College. N. Samokish (1955). Member of numerous regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. He worked in the field of easel painting. In 1976, a personal exhibition of the artist was held in the Sumy Art Museum. A magnificent landscape painter, master of genre painting. Good colorist. He lived and worked in the city of Sumy. Works of V.A. Korostyleva are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, are quite rare in the art market of Ukraine and are highly appreciated by collectors.
