About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter, landscape painter. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (since 1985). Member of Union of Artists of Ukraine. Korostelev (Korostilev) Vladimir Alexandrovich was born on July 21, 1925. He graduated from the Simferopol Art College named. N. Samokisha (1955). The participant of numerous regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. He worked in the field of easel painting. In 1976 in the Sumy Art Museum held a personal exhibition of the artist. Gorgeous landscape painter, master of genre paintings. Good colorist. He lived and worked in the city of Sumy. Works V.A. Korostyleva are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, are quite rare in the art market of Ukraine and are highly valued by collectors.
