About the artist: Was born on 30 (20)? April 1919 in the village of Ivanovka, Poltava region (in Lugansk)? Studied: "Kharkov State Art Institute" until 1950 Teachers by profession - S. Prokhorov, O. Kokel, I. Deitz, S. Besedin, G. Tomenko, L. Chernov, E. Maid. He worked in the field of easel painting. He specialized in thematic paintings. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR 1960 Honored Artist of Ukraine (1972). Laureate of the Young Guard Prize. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1949, All-Union exhibitions since 1951. Participant in the All-Union exhibition in Moscow in 1951. Took part in more than 20 exhibitions. Major works: "For the decree of V. I. Lenin" (1961); On Vacation (1963); "Kobzar" (1965); "Grain growers" (1965 - 1966); "Guests on the collective farm" (1966) and others. Lived and worked in Voroshilovgrad / Lugansk. He died in 1990.
