About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Born in the village of Shukhra, Ivanovo region .. In 1942 he went to the front. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. After demobilization, he entered the Ivanovo Art School. Teachers I. Kalashnikov, M. Malyutin. After graduating from college in 1950, he moved to Yalta. The originality of the Crimean landscape, permeated with sunlight, which reveals the purity and fullness of the natural shades of nature in their tonal unity, changed the creative style of the artist. Strelov-landscape painter created his own figurative world inherent only to him, which involves the viewer in the sphere of kind and bright lyrical feelings, marked by the integrity of the relationship to nature. Since 1961 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. His works are kept in the museums of Ukraine. Exhibited in Hungary, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Japan, USA, Greece, Holland.
