About the artist: Born May 18, 1925 in the city of Chimkent, now Kazakhstan. He studied at the Riga Academy of Arts (1950-1956). Teachers by specialty - J. Tilberg, E. Skulme. Painter and director. He worked in the industry of easel painting. The main genres are portraits and thematic paintings. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1960). Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with medals. Chief artist of the Zaporizhzhya Music and Drama Theater. N. Schors (now named after V. Magar) since 1970. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, all-union (1956). He designed the performances: “Brazilian Treasure” by M. Mashadu (1971), “Dawns Here Are Quiet” by B. Vasiliev (1972), “The Third Pathetic” by N. Pogodin (1972), “Hurricane” by A. Sofronov (1973), “Call and come ”A. Aleksin (1973),“ Sorcerer's Apprentice ”V. Zhulkivskoi and S. Bugaysky (1973),“ Forget Herostratus ”G. Gorin (1974),“ Her Birth ”by A.
