About the artist: Born on November 14, 1942, in the city of Frunze (now Bishkek). He graduated from Odessa Art College (1963). Teachers by specialty: D. Frumina. Painter. For the artist’s creativity, a world of cynical relations is characteristic, where the colors reign and the line is blurred; synthesizing the images of several places and heroes, creates a specific image of the landscape, personality. The fantastic realism of the artist’s paintings captures unconventional writing techniques with the use of complex techniques, original textures and compositional solutions, the novelty of figurative associations and a range of artistic interests. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1973-2002). At creative work. Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-union, foreign (since 1964). Personal exhibitions - in Odessa (1977, 1989). Major works: “Circus” (1966), “Decree”, “Sports Day”, “Football in Kakheti”, “Weekdays of War”, “Memoirs of Monet” (1967), “Evening”, “Beach”, “Gray Day” "; triptych - “My city” (1968), “Circus on the front line”, “Battleship Potemkin”, “Old photos” (1969), “Ancient motive”, “Spring rain”, “West”, “Dancing on the ship” , “Blue Silhouette”, “Holiday” (1970), “Meeting of Whalers”, “House on the Shore” (1971), “Two”, “Port” (1972), “Blue Morning”, “Holiday on the Water” (1973 ), “In the sculpture workshop” (1975); triptych - “My friends are sailors” (1976), “Blue - blue sea”, “Old letters” (1977), “Kiss” (1981), “Lightning” (1986), “Execution of the Decembrists” (1987), “Blue Emperor ”(1989). The works are stored in the Odessa Art Museum, in art museums of Russia, art museums in Germany, art museums in Bulgaria, art museums in France, art museums in the United States. He lived and worked in the city of Odessa, in New York (1990).
