A Journey with Peter Kuzmich Stolyarenko
Born on July 13, 1925 in the village of Kapkany (now Kerch microdistrict) of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Before the war he visited the workshop of K.F. Bogaevsky. He took part in the Great Patriotic War - was connected in the partisan detachment. Since 1945, he worked in an art studio at the Feodosia Art Gallery. I.K. Aivazovsky at N.S. Barsamova. Since 1948 he participated in exhibitions, including from 1952 - in the republican, since 1953 - in the all-Union and also foreign (Hungary, Yugoslavia, Finland, Albania, France, USA, Japan, Spain, Canada, Italy). In 1963, his first solo exhibition was held in Kiev. Since 1953, Stolyarenko - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1963-1978 he was a member of the republican government of the Union of Artists. Since 1969 he lives and works in Yalta. In 1990-1995 he worked in Paris, periodically visited Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Holland, Denmark. [1] In 2010 he was awarded the gold medal "For Contribution to World Culture" of the international fund "Cultural Heritage" (Russia).
