Viktor Grigorievich Puzyrkov was born on October 4, 1918 in the city of Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk).
In 1946 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers by profession - K. Eleva, F. Krichevsky, S. Gerasimov, A. Shovkunenko.
Member of the Great Patriotic War.
Since 1947 V.G. Puzyrkov takes part in republican, all-Union and international art exhibitions.
The title of Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR was awarded to the artist in 1951.
Since 1948 - a teacher, since 1957 - a professor at the Kiev Art Institute.
V. G. Puzyrkov was awarded two State Prizes of the USSR in 1948 and 1950.
People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR since 1963.
In 1976, Puzyrkov V.G. was awarded the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR named after T.G. Shevchenko for the paintings "Soldiers" and "In the dugout".
People's Artist of the USSR since 1979.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, the Order of Glory, 3rd degree, medals.
Viktor Grigorievich Puzyrkov died on October 30, 1999. He was buried at the Baikovo cemetery in Kiev.
The artist's works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in many museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
