About the artist: Stolyarenko Petr Kuzmich. People's Artist of Ukraine. Landscape painter, master of thematic paintings and still life. He visited the workshop of K.F. Bogaevsky. During the Great Patriotic War, Stolyarenko was connected in the partisan detachment. Since 1945 - worked in an art studio at the Feodosia art gallery. I.K.Aivazovsky at N.S. Barsamov. Since 1948, Petr Stolyarenko has taken part in exhibitions, since 1952 - republican, since 1953 - all-Union as well as foreign (Hungary, Yugoslavia, Finland, Albania, France, USA, Japan, Spain, Canada, Italy). Since 1953 - Member of the USSR Union of Artists. From 1963-1978 - Member of the Republican Board of the Union of Artists. In 1963 - the first personal exhibition in Kiev of Peter Kuzmich. Since 1969 - Stolyarenko lives and works in Yalta. Since 1972 - Honored Artist of Ukraine. Since 1985 - People's Artist of Ukraine. In 1990-1995 - The artist worked in Paris, periodically visited Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Holland, Denmark. 2010 - gold medal "For Contribution to World Culture" of the international fund "Cultural Heritage" (Russia). Paintings of Stolyarenko Pyotr Kuzmich are kept in museums of Ukraine, Russia and numerous foreign and domestic private collections.
