About the artist: Born on May 1, 1924 in the village of V. Meshakh (now the Tatar ARSR). Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1955). Teachers by profession - O. Shovkunenko, V. Puzirkov, I. Reznik, M. Sharonov, S. Erzhikovsky, M. Ivanov. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Free minute" (1960); portrait of the milkmaid E. Gudz (1963); "In Native Ukraine" (1963 - 1964); “The year 1941 * (1964 - 1965) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1960. Died in 2001.
