About the artist: He was born on October 7, 1911, in the city of Mogilev-Podilsky (now the Chernihiv region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1939). Specialty teacher - O. Shovkunenko. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Member of World War II. Awarded with medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1947), all-union (since 1957). Major works: “Morning on the Dnieper” (1947); “Field Path” (1960); “On Tarasov Hill” (1964); “On Watch” (1963); May Rain (1968) and others. He lived and worked in the city of Kiev. He died on March 21, 1989.
