About the artist: Ukrainian painter.
Grigory Savelievich Ruban was born in 1925.
He graduated from the Kiev secondary art school. After graduation, he returned to the city of Zaporozhye, where he continued his studies with G. Kolosovsky.
Since 1956, he participated in exhibitions of the Zaporizhzhya Association of Artists.
G. Ruban is a participant in all-Union, republican and regional exhibitions.
He worked mainly in the field of landscape and genre painting. His works have a rich, vibrant coloring and professional writing technique.
The artist’s works are stored in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
