About the artist: Born on November 5, 1913 in Odessa. He graduated from Odessa Art College (1939). Specialty teachers are O. Shovkunenko, Yu. Bershadsky, L. Muchnik, P. Zlochevsky, M. Zaitsev, M. Pavlyuk. Member of the CPSU. Member of World War II. He worked in the field of theatrical and decorative art. The main works: the design of the representations “The death of the squadron” by O. Korneychuk (1947); “Under the Golden Eagle” by J. Galan (1952); “The Adventures of the Good Soldier Schweik” by G. Jura based on the novel by J. Hasek (1955); "Shelmenko-batman" G. Kvitki-Osnovyanenko (1963); "Nazar of Stodol" T. Shevchenko (Odessa Ukrainian Drama Theater named after the October Revolution) and others. He participated in republican exhibitions since 1947. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals.
