About the artist: Born May 2, 1915 in the village of Pavlovka, Zhashkovsky district, Cherkasy region (according to other sources, the village of Koroshino, Glubinsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Studied: Kharkov Art College (1936); Kiev Art Institute (1939-1945). Teachers in the specialty: A. Shovkunenko. Thesis - "Collective farm fields." The artist is a painter. Moves to Buryat-Mongolia (since 1937); returned to Kiev (since 1945). He worked as the main artist in the Drama Theater of the city of Kyakhta; in the Theater of the Young Spectator of the city of Ulan-Ude (since 1941); Kiev Regional Cooperative Association of Artists (1948). At the front of the Great Patriotic War (since 1942). He was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad." Participated in art exhibitions (since 1937). Main exhibitions: Exhibition of works by artists of Soviet Ukratna on the Day of Miner (1951); The third exhibition of works by artists - marinists (1953); Exhibition of works by artists - marine painters of the USSR in 1954 (1954); The Second All-Union Exhibition of the Works of Artists - Marinists of 1955 (1955); exhibition of Transcarpathian landscapes, organized by the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1955). Member of the group of marine painters at the Moscow House of Creativity (since 1950). He died on May 27, 1957.
