About the artist: Ukrainian painter. Matyushenko Viktor Ivanovich was born on June 5, 1925 in Dnepropetrovsk. In 1951 he graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State Art College, his teachers were M. Panin, M. Pogrebnyak. Since 1951 he took part in art exhibitions. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1969. Veteran of World War II, has awards. He was awarded a Diploma of the Secretariat of the Board of the Union of Artists of Ukraine for excellent work, a medal of the memorial to them. A. Kuindzhi in 1964. The works are presented in the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum. The works of I. A. Vladimirov are kept in the State Russian Museum [6], the State Tretyakov Gallery [4], in museums and private collections.
