About the artist: Born April 12, 1887, in the city of Kherson. Graduated from the Kiev Art School (1916). Studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Arts (1916 - 1918). Teachers by profession - I. Ikonnikov, f. Krichevsky, O. Murashko, I. Seleznev, V. Menk. He worked in the field of easel painting. Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR (1967). Participated in republican exhibitions (since 1927). Personal - Kherson (1955, 1962); Kiev (1956); Simferopol (1963). Major works: a series of watercolors "Architecture of old Kherson" (1930); paintings "On the Dnieper in spring" (1949); "Dnieper open spaces" (1952); At the End of Winter (1954); "Clouds over the steppe"; "Autumn in the Kherson Hydropark" (1965) "; Dnieper near Kherson "(1968) and others. Lived and worked in the city of Kherson. He died on October 20, 1977.
