About the artist: Born on August 17, 1945 in the village of Limanskoye, Odessa region. 1964-1971 - study at the Odessa State Art College named after. M.B. Since 1988 member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; And also a member of the National Union of theatrical figures of Ukraine; Nikolai Prokopenko - painter, graphic artist, book illustrator, restorer of easel, tempera, oil and monumental painting, decorator. The artist has held 650 All-Union, All-Ukrainian, International, Foreign and regional exhibitions, including 126 solo exhibitions, 10 Biennials. Laureate, diploma winner and prize-winner of International, All-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions, as well as a number of International Biennale and Triennial of graphics and illustrations of printed and handwritten books.
