About the artist: Born on August 13, 1912 in Tulchini (now Chernihiv region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1946). He studied under O. Shovkunenka. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Major works: “Sholem Aleichem” (1947); "Song of the Motherland"; First Graders (1954); The seashore "(1961)"; Breakfast. 1918 ”(1968) and others. He participated in republican exhibitions since 1947.
