About the artist: 1965 - Born in the village of Kokhanovka, Ananyevsky district, Odessa region.
1989 - Graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Odessa State pedagogical institute. Teacher by specialty V.A. Zakharchenko.
Since 1986 - Participant of city, regional, All-Ukrainian and International exhibitions.
2003 - Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Petr Nagulyak is a name well-known to the inhabitants of Odessa. He is a participant in many exhibitions, his works are in the Odessa Art Museum, in private collections in more than 20 countries around the world. In his work, the artist masters and develops the traditions of the South Russian school of painting, lives by the uninterrupted connection of times.
Through his powerful plein air painting, the South Russian Impressionists, singers of the sun and light, are returning to us, with purely childish delight, idolizing the beauty of the fleeting state of nature. His landscapes and still lifes reflect the state of the fullness of light, it is a special gift to see, feel and convey the light spectrum of nature in his works.
