About the artist: Born on January 26, 1947, in the village of Ropotukha, Cherkasy region. Graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute (1972). Teachers in the specialty: V. Kostetsky. V. Shatalin. Painter. He worked in the field of easel painting; in the genre of still life and landscape. The artist is characterized by messages of lyric-poetic and philosophical principles, a combination of Ukrainian national imagery and expression of the foundations of the 20th century. Constructs a light-colored environment, saturates the works with optimism. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1994). People's Artist of Ukraine (2004). He worked at the Volynsk art and production plant (1972-1993); at the Lutsk University of Fine Arts: senior lecturer (since 1993), associate professor (since 1999), head of the department (2004). She founded her own painting school in Lutsk. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, foreign (since 1972). Personal exhibitions - in Lutsk (1977, 1985, 1996-1998, 2002, 2004), Vladimir-Volynsky, Volyn region (1989), Kholm (1979, 1987, 1990, 1992), Zamosc (1987), Lublin, Poland (2005 ) Major works: "Grasses of Peaceful Fields" (1994), "Strumivskiy Landscape" (2001), "Petru Lashes" (2007), "Flowers on the Window" (1969), "In the Home" (1973), "Under the Peaceful sky "," Joyful time "(1979)," Bells "(1980)," August days "," Breath of spring "(1982)," Girls of collective farm fields "(1984)," Shepherds "(1985)," After Chernobyl "(1991)," Memories of childhood "(1996)," Kalina "(1999); a cycle of thematic paintings and landscapes - "Lesya Ukrainian Path" (1989-1993); a series of still lifes - "Shchezayuche Polesie" (1988-2005); portraits - “A.
