About This Painting
"The Sky is Silent," sized at 185x135 cm, is crafted with vibrant and contemplative hues that capture the expansive sky at a moment that seems suspended between day and night. The vast sky, depicted in layers of purple, grey, and yellow, evokes the serene calm of twilight, contrasting beautifully with the sharp, clean lines of Mediterranean-style architecture below.
This artwork masterfully plays with the dichotomy between the dynamic, expressive skies and the structured, tranquil urban elements below. Whimsical inflated bunnies floating in the scene add a surreal and playful touch, juxtaposing the stillness of the sky and the grounded nature of the human-made structures, suggesting a narrative of silence and contemplation amidst everyday settings.
