About the Artist
Dakhnenko Oleksiy Mykolayovych was born on November 30, 1952.
He took professional painting lessons from famous masters of Ukraine: V. I. Tyshunin, I. P. Grigoriev, V. I. Zaretskyi.
In 1986, Oleksiy Mykolayovych entered the Kyiv State Art Institute, where he studied art under the guidance of Professor Puzyrkov Viktor Hryhorovych. In 1992, he graduated from the institute.
The artist paints paintings in the technique of oil painting in the style of expressionism.
More than 10 of the artist's paintings are in the personal collection of Carlos Pascual (US Ambassador to Ukraine 2000-2003); more than 5 paintings in the personal collection of Patrick E. Tyler (The New York Times).
Also, the artist's works are in private collections and galleries of Ukraine, Russia, USA, Germany, Spain, Denmark and other countries of America and Europe.
In total, Oleksiy Dahnenko created about 1,000 paintings.
