About the artist: Ukrainian artist. Nina Pavlovna Volkova was born on January 28, 1917 in the village of Huber, Kirov region in Russia. In 1936 she graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, where she studied with M. Panin. In 1946 she graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where her teachers were K. Yeleva, K. Trohimenko, M. Sharonov. Volkova N.P. - A participant in art exhibitions: republican since 1947, all-Union and foreign since 1948. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She worked in the field of easel painting. Master of genre painting, still life and landscape. The works of N.P. Volkova are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
