About the artist: Born on September 7, 1911 in the city of Nikolaev. Father of God. He graduated from the Nikolaev Art College (1933). Specialty teacher - D. Krainev. Painter. He worked in the industry of easel painting. He worked in almost all genres of painting. He is characterized by a pasty manner of writing with active modeling of the form of chiaroscuro. Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1958). Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1962). People's Artist of the USSR (1963). He was awarded the silver medal of the International Exhibition in Brussels (1958), the silver medal of the USSR Academy of Arts (1960). Received the State Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (1974). Member of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR (1962 - 1969). He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor and medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican (1945), all-union (1950), foreign (1951). Major works: works on a historical and revolutionary theme - “V. Lenin "(1960-1961)," Twentieth Century "with the central figure of V.
