He was awarded the silver medal of the International Exhibition in Brussels (1958), the silver medal of the USSR Academy of Arts (1960). Received the State Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (1974). Member of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR (1962 - 1969). He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor and medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican (1945), all-union (1950), foreign (1951). Major works: works on a historical and revolutionary theme - “V.
