About the artists: Born on January 15, 1925, in the city of Spassk (now Spassk-Dalny, Primorsky Territory). Graduated from the Zaporozhye art studio (1955). Teachers in the specialty: F. Shevchenko. Painter, graphic artist. The main industries are easel painting and graphics (watercolors, gouache), genres, and architectural landscapes. With laconic means, he skillfully conveyed the strict asceticism of military life. In a number of works, where the main element of expressiveness is color, there is a tendency towards decorative, pointillistic manner of writing. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1971). He was engaged in creative work. Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-union, foreign (since 1955). Personal exhibitions - in Zaporozhye (1971), Sumy (1976; posthumous - 1992, 1998, 2005). Major works: "Monument of architecture" (1968), "Chemical plant", "Along the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station" (1970), "On Vorskla" (1971), "Great Ustyug" (1972), "Molchansky monastery. Putivl ”(1973),“ In a pine forest ”,“ In the valley of the Seim ”(1974),“ Partisan dugout ”(1975),“ Morning in Polesie ”,“ Kachanovsky oilfield ”(1976); diorama - "At the final stage of the Battle of Kursk" (1970s). The works are kept in the Sumy Art Museum and the Kharkiv Art Museum, the Sumy Museum of Local Lore, the Lugansk Museum of Local Lore and the Putivlya Museum of Local Lore (Sumy region). Lived and worked in the city of Kotelva, Poltava region, died on August 18, 1978. He died on September 18, 1978.
