About the artist: Born on February 9, 1914 in Basu Farm (now Rostov Region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1947). Teachers by specialty - M. Sharonov, M. Deregus, O. Sirotenko, P. Kotov, S. Grigoriev, K. Trohimenko. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Major works: “To the call of Bogdan Khmelnitsky” (1947); "The funeral of T. G. Shevchenko at the Smolensk cemetery in St. Petersburg" (1950 - 1951); “Brothers are coming from the east” (1960); "Spring Flowers" (1963); "Morning on the Spree" (1965) and others. He participated in republican exhibitions since 1947. He died in 1980.
