About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian artist, landscape painter. Member of the Union of Arts of the USSR. Was born in 1925. Studied at the Republican Art School named after T.G. Shevchenko. After graduation, he returned to Zaporozhye, where he continued his studies with G. Kolosovsky. Since 1956 he took part in exhibitions of the Zaporozhye Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Member of All-Union, Republican and Regional exhibitions. He worked mainly in the field of landscape and genre painting. His work has a rich, bright politra and highly professional writing technique. Works are kept in public and private collections in Ukraine. He passed away in 1997.
