About the artists: Valery Kupriyanovych Zosenko was born on January 11, 1939 in the city of Romny, Sumy Oblast, in the family of the artist Kupriyan Zosenko. His first teachers were his parents. Mother, Maria Mykolayivna, painted beautifully, and father, Kupriyan Fedorovych, painted landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. Individual paintings by K. F. Zosenko are in the Rome Museum of Local Lore. When the Great Patriotic War began, Valery's father went to the front. Valery and his mother were hiding in the Hayduk farm, they went there to buy food. Little Valery walked several kilometers on foot. After the war, my father taught art in Romanian schools. Valeriy grew up in the environment of highly intelligent people - this became the cornerstone of his personality formation. The family read scientific magazines, discussed art problems and city news, drew. The artistic abilities of the future artist were first recognized here. The motifs of his first natural sketches were landscapes. In 1955, Valery Kupriyanovych graduated from Rome School No. 2. He studied at the Kursk Art School, which he graduated in 1960. While studying at the Kursk Art School, Valery Zosenko mastered not only painting techniques, but also the art of living. Valery Zosenko worked as a scenographer at the Orenburg Music and Drama Theater, a teacher at the Rivne Children's Art School, a drawing teacher at the Romen School No. 2, and an artist at the Romen District House of Culture.
