About the artists: Shapoval Ivan Leontievich was born in 1939 in the city of Dneprodzerzhinsk, Dnepropetrovsk region. Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1967) and the Kharkov Art-Industrial Institute (1973). Works in the field of easel painting. Studied under G. Chernyavsky, A. Constantinople, A. Martynets. An active participant in regional, republican and foreign exhibitions (since 1972). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1988). Lives and works in Sumy.
