About the artist: Born July 22, 1926 in Komunarsk, Lugansk region. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1956). Teachers by specialty - V. Kasiyan, F. Samusev, K. Zaruba, S. Erzhikivsky, M. Ivanov, V. Zadorozhny. Member of the CPSU. Member of World War II. He worked in the industry of easel painting and political poster. Main works: poster “More potatoes to the country”, “Glory to the Great Russian people!” K., 1954; watercolors "Hutsulka" (1957); “Faith” (1963); illustrations for the book “We and the Child” by V. Ladizhtsa (1962) and others. Participated in exhibitions; republican since 1954, foreign since 1959. Awarded a medal.
