About the artist: Ukrainian painter, graphic artist.
Pyotr Yevlampievich Sabadysh was born on December 21, 1908 (January 3, 1909 in a new style) in the city of Alexandrovsk, now Zaporozhye.
From 1922 to 1927 he studied at the Zaporizhzhya art school.
In 1932 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under A. Bogomazov, V. Palmov, M. Boychuk.
He worked in the field of landscape painting.
Sabadysh P.E. participant of art exhibitions since 1929.
The personal exhibition of the artist was held in 1959 in Kiev.
In 1968 he was awarded the Medal and Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR.
Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1974.
In 1976, paintings by Pyotr Yevlampievich participated in an exhibition of works by graduates of the Zaporizhzhya Art Professional School, held in Zaporozhye.
The Zaporizhzhya Regional Art Museum presents 17 paintings by Sabadysh.
The artist died on June 16, 1994.
